Hiroki "Hiro" Moriuchi is a prominent Japanese rock vocalist, best known as the lead singer of MY FIRST STORY, a Tokyo-based band he joined at its inception in 2011.
Born on January 25, 1994, in Tokyo, Hiro is the youngest son of legendary Enka artists Shinichi Mori and Masako Mori and the younger brother of Taka (Takahito Moriuchi), lead vocalist of ONE OK ROCK. In fact, the two brothers performed “Nobody's Home” together during a special ONE OK ROCK × MY FIRST STORY concert at the Tokyo Dome on November 14, 2023, marking a rare and moving family collaboration.
Hiro's music career began exceptionally early—he joined Johnny's Entertainment at age eight in 2002, becoming the youngest Johnny's Jr. before leaving the agency in 2005 to pursue vocal rock music. With MY FIRST STORY, Hiro has released several studio albums, including their self-titled debut in 2012 and the Oricon top‑5 album Antithese in 2016, culminating in a headline performance at the prestigious Nippon Budokan.
Overcoming early criticisms of nepotism, Hiro has carved out a distinct identity, focusing on artistic credibility and emotional vocal performances—evident in collaborations like “Sink Like a Stone” with Swanky Dank (2014) and feature vocals for Nano in 2013.
