Knotfest is a global heavy music festival founded by the American metal band Slipknot in 2012. On November 15, 2014, the band performed at the inaugural Japanese edition of Knotfest, held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba. Sharing the lineup with bands such as Limp Bizkit, Bring Me the Horizon, and Papa Roach, ONE OK ROCK's participation underscored their prominence in Japan's rock scene and their alignment with global heavy music trends.
