Pay money To my Pain was a powerful and emotionally intense Japanese post-hardcore/alternative rock band fronted by K, known for his raw English lyrics and deeply personal songwriting. The band gained huge respect in the Japanese rock scene for their honesty, heaviness, and energy. In 2010, PTP invited ONE OK ROCK to participate in select dates of their "STAY REAL TOUR", a nationwide tour named after their message of honesty and staying true to yourself. This tour wasn't just about exposure—it was about mutual respect between bands, and the shows reflected that. ONE OK ROCK was still rising, but this was a powerful stamp of approval from one of the most respected bands in the heavy alt scene. This tour took on even more significance after the tragic passing of K, PTP's vocalist, in 2012. ONE OK ROCK was among the bands that publicly honored him—including during the "From Here to Somewhere" tribute show (released as DVD 2024), where Taka performed with PTP members in K's memory.
