More information

"Act Against AIDS (AAA)" was a long-running charity concert series in Japan, launched in 1993 to raise awareness and support for the global fight against HIV/AIDS. The concerts were typically held around December 1 (World AIDS Day) and featured major names in Japanese music volunteering their time and talent. The 2007 edition was subtitled 「15年かヨ!全員集合」 ("15 Years Already?! Everyone Gather Up!"), celebrating the campaign's 15th anniversary with a massive lineup of artists united for the cause.

This concert marked one of the first times ONE OK ROCK joined a lineup alongside some of Japan's top artists, and it came shortly after the release of their debut album. Their participation in such a heartfelt cause demonstrated not only their musical ability but also a sense of emotional authenticity—something that would become a defining aspect of their identity.

It was a moment that showed ONE OK ROCK stepping into the broader Japanese music culture, not just through rock festivals, but through events with real impact and social meaning.

Although footage of their performance is scarce, their inclusion in such a high-profile event so early in their career speaks volumes about the respect they were already earning within the industry. It also stands as one of their first appearances in a socially conscious setting, foreshadowing the emotional power and sincerity that would define their future live performances.
