1st Album: Zeitakubyō

Zeitakubyō is the first major album by ONE OK ROCK, released on November 21, 2007 (limited edition) and January 1, 2008. This debut marks a major milestone in the band's evolution — a raw yet ambitious project that encapsulates their diverse musical influences and creative drive at the start of their professional career.

The title "Zeitakubyō", which translates roughly to "Luxury Disease", reflects both the variety and excess packed into the album. According to the band, it carries a layered meaning: it's "luxurious" in the sense that it spans multiple genres — from punk rock to emo to melodic ballads — and it's so rich in sound and emotion that it might even make listeners feel overwhelmed, as if they've indulged too much.
