Official HIGE DANDism (commonly known as Higedan) is a Japanese pop-rock band formed in 2012 in Shimane, Japan. The group is celebrated for its blend of soulful vocals, piano-driven melodies, and sophisticated pop arrangements. Higedan achieved major success with hits like "Pretender" and "I LOVE...", becoming one of Japan's leading contemporary bands. Known for heartfelt lyrics and polished production, they have dominated Japanese charts and earned numerous awards since their major debut in 2018.
The band's vocalist and songwriter, Satoshi Fujihara, collaborated with ONE OK ROCK on the track Gravity, featured on the 2022 album Luxury Disease. Additionally, both bands shared the stage at ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2022, reflecting a strong sense of mutual respect and influence within Japan's modern rock and pop scene.
