Akkin is a renowned Japanese music producer, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist known for his lush string arrangements and dynamic programming across J-rock and pop. Over the years, he has contributed to a wide range of projects for both major acts and emerging artists, blending traditional instrumentation with modern production techniques.

Akkin has played a vital behind-the-scenes role in shaping ONE OK ROCK's earlier sound, especially during their transition into more cinematic and emotionally rich rock. He arranged over 40 songs for the band, including key tracks from JINSEI x BOKU =, such as Clock Strikes and Be the Light and contributed to string arrangements and programming on albums like Zankyō Reference, 35xxxv, and Kanjō Effect.
